So on the 12th September at the George Hotel in Henfield,I found myself playing an active part for Village Networking in capturing this special occasion, the 2nd Birthday, by creating a few images brought home to me the scale of Jo's achievement in just two years of undoubted hard work.
A special cake was made for the event by Sharon Walker, from the Southwater group, beautifully iced and decorated with the Village Networking Logo.
Helen Turier gave a ten minute motivational presentation with tips on how to give a meaningful 1 minute Intro to your business, delivered with her usual alacrity, humour and verve.
Where it began with just one group in Henfield it has since grown into five with Storrington, Southwater, Lindfield, Rustington. All of which were represented by at least one regular member from each group, including the two other leaders, Rachael Burgess of "Lifestyle Sussex" who heads the Storrington group and soon to be established Billingshurst group, and Natalie Stafferton of "Utility Warehouse" who heads the Lindfield group. The new group at Rustington would be launched the next day by Dawn Wiseman, with a small business event styled as "Posh Market". Unfortunately Dawn was unable to attend because of her commitment to the launch of this new group.
The group image was posted onto the News Desk together with professional copy by Mike Beardall of Oakfield Media, one of the original members of Village Networkings Henfield group. Lets hope it gets picked up by the local press and run in future publications.
