Helen Walters, the Play leader at Busy Tots invited me along to create Christmas portraits of her Play group.
Using a little bean bag and some pretty materials and tinsel to create the setting, was a great deal of fun.
For lighting I used my two SB900 Speedlights which proved to be more than up to the task and were less of a risk than the heavier mono-bloc units.
Most of the children appeared to enjoy the experience and all the Mums were very encouraging,
Of the 200 plus images I captured, I was happy to present some 85 on the password protected gallery.

Hi and welcome to my Blog....
I am sure it will soon become evident that I am no literary master of words, though I hope to share some of my thoughts and experiences whilst I am out and about as a photographer.
These may be in the form of an account of a commissioned assignment or a stock photographing trip or personal project, or even some straight forward views on workshops I have attended.
Whilst I can claim to have accumulated a good deal of experience as a photographer, I am always on the look out for new stuff to learn and don't ever feel I know it all.
