Holy Innocents Church Fair and Dog Show

A very successful local event which raised £1800 for the Parish Church with a well attended first ever dog show, was held in the vicarage garden at Holy Innocents in Southwater last Saturday. 

   

In addition to offering the customary classes, the dog show also featured the Best 6 Legs, which drew some delightful entrants and amused the crowds and the judges.

The Fair was generously supported by various local businesses, including Southwater Action Team, Montessori Schools, Trophy Pet Foods and Forever Living.  There was a display by the local Karate club.

 

Sharon Walker of Sharon's Cakes, served as one of the judges for the cake contest, along with may other's who volunteered for such onerous tasks as the Best Vegetable Animal"

A beautiful Longhaired Retriever eventually won "Best of Show" and received a voucher to claim an Art's Eye 1 hour Pet and Family Portrait sitting.
